More casting fun.
I`m using very fine silica on
the foam to get the best finish i can
get so i can use this method at work.
Fired up the furnace at 10:39
Poured at 10:51.

And this is how it turned out.

Heres the first lost foam casting
i`ve done in years.
Didn`t set up the tripod so i didn`t
get the pour.
Next time.

Ok no posting since last year
so here goes.
Ant made me a b`day cake
and had fun replaceing the seals on
her cruiser.
I made a black knight helm out of AL
for a show.
and a new furnace.

Ok now fuffy has a torso.
it can rotate and has a small
servo for a weapon on the
side

Yay for me .
i now have a set of legs
that walk really badly
but have no wires
connected.
Next, torso
then weapons.

Yay for me.
My mech which for now we shall
call......Fluffy
now has a blueSmirf for a pilot.
No more trying to drag a bloody
serial cable around.
Next a battery then
THE WORLD!!!
