Bog chair

Been awhile but heres what i`ve done lately.
Made a Viking/Bog chair with Ant on the weekend.
To tell the truth we made 3, but we broke 1 in the stress testing stage.
But heres one thats finished.
Its Vic ash with golden oak stain and varnish.
wieghs abit as its a dense hardwood.
Its pretty comftable but it will be funny when someone sits in it when drunk, its not very wide.
Oh and it flat packs.
The household im part of is looking to make maybe 8 to 10 for our campsite.

Made this today.
Was going to be electro etched but
still have to get my head around
how to do it cleanly.
Oh and not that you can see it but
the cutting edge is made from an old file
and the main body is mild steel.
Red gum handle.
And #2 abit bigger.
The smaller one has the better feeling handle.

Now this machine i would love to make.
Need a bigger shed.

More casting fun.
I`m using very fine silica on
the foam to get the best finish i can
get so i can use this method at work.
Fired up the furnace at 10:39
Poured at 10:51.

And this is how it turned out.
